I finally started my epic ride on 23rd of December. It was weird to leave a place I stayed for 2.5 years. But I am glad I came out of the zone of cold and snow by now.

I am putting brief day-to-day updates at ride journal for this special trip, with the help of Priti. Will upload some pics in my pbase gallery and share it here soon.

It has been a great ride so far. 1360 miles in 3 days. Taking a full day of rest today to do some unexpected work on my masters project report. The ghost of Stony Brook is yet to leave me !!!

Right now I am at Tampa, FL. At my school senior’s place, enjoying good chat and home food. Florida weather is so comfortable I feel like just staying here. I am so thrilled to be able to go outside in my shorts even at this dead of winter. My gerbing electric jacket was useful for the first two days of riding but yesterday it had to be off. I am expecting some more cold rides around texas in the coming days.

This ride is just like a dream. I am happy to live a dream I wanted to be true for a long time. Doing this and meeting old friends is something to remember for a very long time to come.
