Ride update from Scottsdale AZ
Finally at Scottsdale AZ at Parimal uncle’s place. I dreamt about riding in AZ when I came here in summer 2004 for a visit. It was so good to see them all. Last time Nabanita aunty and Raja was in India so I could not meet them.
My longest riding day so far. 670 miles from 7am to 7:30pm, from Pecos TX. The reward for all this was just one thing - the stunned look at the face of uncle and aunty.
One godly ride. Crazy scenaries. My all riding dreams so far came true today at the I-20 and I-10 through Texas and New Mexico. Those perfectly straight roads through arid lands which scream “In the middle of nowhere” for hundreds of miles. And a hell of a sunrise and sunset.
Staying here the whole day tomorrow to enjoy sumptuous bengali dishes, have tons of chat and upload a bunch of pictures from my ride. The plan is to reach Los Angeles on 2nd Jan and Sunnyvale on 3rd.
The Concours is one god-sent bike to me. Velvet-smooth and not one single trouble. Not one psi of air lost from tires.
3800 miles done so far. 650 more to do.

You may want to stay an extra couple of days in Arizona.. the weather in north and central California doesn’t look good. The weather people are forecasting 50 mph gusts in and around LA county. Be careful.
