		<description>Up here in the northwest we don't get as many big ones as California, but they do come around.  I think the damp keeps things stuck together.  We had a 5.3 in 1996 or 97 that was quite exciting once I decided my building wasn't going to fall over.  (If I hadn't washed all my dishes that morning they'd have been safely in the sink instead of broken all over the kitchen floor.)

Glad you're not squashed by falling masonry.

If your new bike gets "earthquaked" it might be fun to make one of these (http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2007/07/30/honda-st1300-streetfighter/) ...just an idea.</description>
